Eudora Light Mail Setup Go to the Internet Software page on our web site. Scroll down to "Eudora Light 3.01", and double click on it. Select "Save To Disk". On the next screen, select where you would like to save the file EUL301.exe Click on "My Computer". Click on "C:" Drive. Either select a directory or save it in the root directory. Click on "Save". The download of Eudora Light is now started. (The time it takes to download will vary, depending on the speed of your modem.) Once the download is complete, click on "Start", "Programs" and "Windows Explorer". Create the directories where you would like the mailboxes to be located. Find and double click on the file: EUL301.exe Follow the instructions. Once installed, click on "Start", "Programs", and "Eudora Light". Then click on "Tools", "Options" and "Personal Info". For POP Account, enter: (your login name)@mail.elkgrove.net Enter your name under "Real Name". For "Return Address", enter your e-mail address: (your login name)@elkgrove.net Click on "Hosts", then type under "SMTP": SMTP.elkgrove.net Click on "Checking Mail", and add a check mark by "Save Password". You are now ready to send and receive mail. To name your icons for additional boxes, right click on "Start", click on "Open" and "Programs". Right click on "Eudora Light", then click on "Rename". If you want you the icon to appear on your desktop, right click (keeping button depressed) and drag to desktop (then release button). When menu appears, click "Create Shortcut(s) Here". |
