With filtered internet at your business site, none of your employees or other people with access to your internet service will be able to surf porn web sites. Therefore, your customers, employees and visitors to your business will not be exposed to pornographic material being accessed by someone using your internet service at your place of business. Does it slow down my service? No. Unlike a Proxy Filtering service, your request for a website is not delayed or rerouted. The IP filter receives a copy of your request, and if it is an unblocked IP address (website), the filter does nothing. If it is a blocked site, the filter sends out a "Block Page". What if it blocks the wrong site? Sometimes the IP Address (individual address of each site) gets changed. This means that a site that should not be blocked, may get an updated IP address from a site that was previously blocked. If this happens, please submit the URL for review, to 8e6 Technologies. Since our filter is an IP based filter and not a word filter, if evaluates the websites and not the words in the search engine. So, yes, you can still search for breast cancer, as well as for a "breast of chicken" recipe. I got the message: "Your Access Has Been Denied".
